Welcome to the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, Maryland Chapter
1 web site. We are a club for members of the fire
service and their families who enjoy riding motorcycles. Membership is open
to all firefighters, active or retired, career or volunteer, who have access
to a motorcycle and hold a valid motorcycle drivers license. Spouses,
members' children, boy/girlfriends and brothers/sisters are also welcome as
Social Members.
Maryland Chapter 1
sponsors various rides throughout the year, such as Poker Runs, dinner
rides, and just plain old fun rides. We also participate in other Chapter
and motorcycle club activities whenever possible.

iT'S OFFICIAL...
THE WORLDS LARGEST POKER RUN:
June 29, 2009
It's official, the Poker Run held on Saturday, April
18,2009 that was dubbed as the "Worlds Largest Poker Run" has been certified
by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Congratulations and thanks to everyone that participated
in this event and made it the success that it was.

maryland chapter 1 Appointed Maryland State President:
June 20, 2009
Senior Road Captain Tomy Baker has been
appointment as President to the Maryland State Association of the Redknights
International Motorcycle Club.
Past President
Larry "Sack"
Sackadorf stepped down from the position, and with the approval of the
International appointed Tomy to serve as President until the next election
which will be in May, 2010.
Tomy is a Charter Member of Maryland
Chapter 1, a retired Montgomery, MD firefighter, Life Member and past Fire
Chief of the
Branchville VFD, Station 11 in Prince Georges County, Md. He currently
serves as the Senior Road Captain of Maryland Chapter 1.
The members of Maryland Chapter 1
congratulate Tomy on his appointment and are there to assist him in any way
we can.
