Depart site: Park and Ride in Bowie (off Rt 197)
Destination: Buchanan, VA.
Route: Mostly back roads. (Note: there will be a toll over the Harry
Nice Bridge on Rt301 ($3.00 per bike).

Cost: AUCE Breakfast ($7:00), Gas, Oxford Ferry ($ 6.00 Bike & $1.00
Extra Passenger)
Special Requirements: None
Comments: Ride will depart at
8:00am from the
Kent Island VFD
(Take Exit 39 off Rt. 50 and turn right back across Rt. 50) in Kent
Island, MD. Please arrive by 7:45 am with a full tank of
gas. The route will go directly to the Preston VFD for breakfast
and then through the country ending up in Tilghman Island. Did I
mention home made Ice Cream!
It’s important that we leave on time to
make sure we have time for the breakfast which ends at 10:00 am. We
will also be making a short stop in Cambridge for gas and potty.
